Saying that he has now read through the guide, that it seems Dette has not used the newest version (Fassung), at least not as far as the libretto is concerned, asking him to make the necessary corrections, saying that "'Faust' I" was a great success the day before, expressing regret that Dette could not attend, etc.; the letterhead is that of the Vereinigte Stadttheater Chemnitz, Richard Tauber, director.
